Marine Biology for the Diver
The thrust of this course is to familiarize the student with the California marine fauna and flora. The course consists of one day of boat diving, photo lectures, and a tour of the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The students will examine and learn to identify marine specimens collected during the dives. The emphasis of this course is not only on identification of marine life, but also learning interesting natural history information about sea life encountered along the California coast.

* nudibranchs morphology
* kelp forrest ecology
* fish biology
* critter identification
All of our courses are highly customizable so we can cater them to each individual preference. This course can also be completed on a Channel Islands trip.
