Cocos Island, Costa Rica — Big animal diving at it’s finest!
Come explore one of the greatest diving locations on Earth. Jacques Cousteau once called Cocos “the most beautiful island in the world,” and the legend holds true. Lying more than 300 miles off the coast of mainland Costa Rica in the Pacific’s fabled Rim of Fire, this remote island is a place where ocean currents collide and life explodes in every direction.
The towering island is adorned with a lush rainforest and steep jungle cliffs dripping with waterfalls that cascade into the sea. And beneath the surface — pelagic mayhem! Schooling hammerheads, tiger sharks, Galapagos sharks, manta rays, dolphins, eagle rays and swirling masses of fish make Cocos Island a true big-animal haven. This is wild, raw, unfiltered ocean — a place of big fish and bigger sharks — the kind of place that stirs your soul and keeps you buzzing long after you’ve dried off.
We’ll be visiting during prime time aboard the legendary M/V Seahunter for 11 days/10 nights of world-class liveaboard diving in one of the last untouched marine sanctuaries on the planet. After my previous experience with the Underseahunter Group there is no other operator I would choose to venture out to Cocos. They are a first class company all the way: top notch safety operations, hard sided tenders are great for longer dive site transits, excellent dive masters, well thought out dive platform, and of course the food will not let you down.

Reservation and Payment Information: A $1500 semi-refundable** deposit per diver is required to reserve a space. Deposits can be made in several easy ways. Credit cards (VISA & MC) may be used with a 3.5% transaction fee, or send your deposit today by check, Venmo, or Zelle and avoid the fee. Please make checks payable to Worldwide Diving Adventures and send to 4477 N. Old Stage Road, Mount Shasta CA 96067. Final payment is due 4 months prior to the trip (May 24, 2027). Airfare booked by Worldwide Diving Adventures must be paid upon flight reservation. Cancellations are subject to a $300 processing fee. Price is based on double occupancy. Reservations and payments will be forfeited if full payment is not received according to the schedule. No refunds can be made after April 24, 2027.

**Semi-refundable means the initial deposit will be refunded, minus the service fee, once the cancelled spot has been reserved by a new guest. If the cancelled spot cannot be filled by a new guest the deposit will be forfeited.
WDA participates in the California Seller of Travel Program. Upon cancellation of the transportation or travel services, all sums paid to WDA for services not provided to the passenger, will be promptly paid to the passenger, when the passenger is not at fault and had not canceled in violation of any terms previously clearly and conspicuously disclosed to and agreed to by the passenger, and unless the passenger otherwise advises the seller of travel in writing, upon cancellation. WDA, through the California Seller of Travel Program, also participates in the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF). Passengers have a right to make a claim on the fund. The Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation (TCRC) was created to decide claims made against the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund, which serves consumers located in California who suffer losses as a result of the bankruptcy, cessation of operations, insolvency, or material failure of a seller of travel to provide the transportation or travel services contracted.
